Co-President , African Women in GIS
Ekpereamaka Juliet Ibenegbu is a GIS Specialist and Software Engineer with a degree in Geoinformatics and Surveying from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). As Co-President of African Women in GIS (AWiGIS), she is dedicated to empowering women in the geospatial field across Africa.
Juliet is also an Esri Young Professionals Network Ambassador, a member of ThriveGEO and ForbesBLK, and an Ambassador for Get Kids into Survey (GKIS). Additionally, she advocates for social justice as an Anti-trafficking Youth Advocate with the Women Aid Collective (WACOL), using her skills to drive positive change.
AWiGIS has been home to me and I want every woman in the geospatial industry in Africa to experience this.
